Full fitness is a term used by many athletes, and whether you’re amateur or a professional, it can take some time to get your fitness levels back up.
Running is probably the best method to boost your fitness, and you should start of easy if you haven’t ran in quite some time. Your lungs, legs and heart will not be used to a fast run, and a slow jog or even long walks can be the best primary workouts for getting back to full fitness.
Sprinting drills should be avoided until you’re at a relatively good fitness stage. You should also be aware of the cold air now amongst us, because it can make running even more difficult. If you’re an individual who has difficulty breathing after intense work outs make sure you have an inhaler on hand. But otherwise you should be fine if you start off with a simple jog.
